If Not For Love...

Bible Time 93, as we creep up on the monumental 100th episode of Bible Time, I want to remind everyone of the importance of Love.  That four letter word that we all claim to know and have, yet so many speak for God and have not love.  We turn to 1 Corinthians 13 for Paul's reminder that if I have the gift of prophecy and all the knowledge of the world but have not love, I am nothing.
I recount a personal story and an item I recently saw and facebook in this "loving" gentle reminder that we need to let God work through us in Love.

It’s Just A Rock

"My people perish for lack of knowledge..."  Words spoken by God through the prophet Hosea and something we should understand today.   In our culture, we have adapted a couple of philosophies.  One is the I know it all because I have studied the Word.  We will talk about that another time.  But the one we will talk about today is the "This is calming me" mentality. Do Crystals calm you?  Can burning sage drive out evil spirits?  I will explain just exactly what is going on in the Spiritual world when you burn sage or meditate over crystals.  You may be a little shocked to know the truth, but the truth will set you free.

I’m Buried!

The fourth Sunday of Advent is about love. Love came down at Christmas and we discuss what love is and I give a glimpse of the future. I will be taking a couple weeks off to finalize my book, Forty on 70 after this episode.
